Broxton Park wanted a website that could be easily updated, without needing a lot of training and without purchasing new software. They wanted their whole staff to be involved in keeping their website updated. They wanted to be able to get information to students and parents quickly and easily. And they wanted an easier to remember website address.
Fully Dynamic
Broxton Park now has a brand new school website that does all those things at www.broxtonpark.ca. Every page on their new site is dynamic, meaning that staff members can log on to the website and update text, pictures and documents whenever they wish, from home or from the school. The site also features pictures of Broxton's students and staff and a different picture randomnly loads in the banner on each page.
eTeachers
Each and every teacher in the school has their own special place on the website where they can post news, announcements and homework. They can also post their own monthly newsletters and pictures of their class.
Calendar
A weekly schedule is on every page on the site, so parents can easily find the time and location of tomorrow's volleyball game and know when Parent Teacher interviews are coming.
Photo Galleries
The staff at Broxton Park can also create photo galleries and post pictures as often as they like. If there is a big event during the day parents can view pictures online while they're still at work that same day.
