The brand new MacEwan Health Services needed a brand new website to help get the word out to MacEwan staff and students. It's also a great informational source on all sorts of issues.
As is the case with most offices, people with no formal web training were tasked with maintaining the website.
With very little training they can jump right in and begin work on their site.
Enter Web Guide
Web Guide is our custom-built Content Management System, or CMS for short, and it is a perfect fit for the MacEwan Health Services website. It's a web-based application that allows MacEwan staff to login from any computer and with just a few clicks they can add, edit, or delete text, pages or whole sections from their website. With very little training they can jump right in and begin work on their site.
What Style Would you Like?
With a couple different target audiences for the site (students and parents/staff) we added the ability to change the style of each page on the fly. If the page is targeted directly at students the page can get the 'funky' look. If it's targeted at parents or staff it can get the 'clean' look. Switching a page between the two styles is just one simple click.
