Alberta Education Tutorials
Edmonton, AB
Alberta Education's Learning Resource Centre provides assistive technologies to students around the province that have visual impairments. They wanted to create online video tutorials so the teacher aids that work with these students would be able to quickly gain the knowledge required to help their students learn these new devices.
For this project we set up five full days of shooting involving a lot of lights, a couple cameras, some well-spoken instructors and three assistive devices from Aroga and Humanware. We edited the 25 hours of footage down to 38 short tutorial videos that will soon be online and accessible to teacher aids and students throughout the province. We also created some nice motion graphics to be used as intros for each video, found some nice music to use, and created clear titling for the videos. We also created DVDs for each of the three devices that will be sent along with each new device that the Learning Resource Centre loans to Alberta schools.
