Helping those with Vision Loss

Over two years Box Clever worked with Alberta Education's Students with Vision Loss Initiative to produce training videos for the province's teachers and teacher aids that work with students that are blind or suffer from vision loss. The training videos demonstrated many devices that the students use in their daily lives such as Braille printers, notetakers, CCTVs, DAISY players, embossers, science equipment and audio graphing calculators.

With over 20 days of shooting and 120 hours of captured video, there are now over 100 training videos online. For each day of shooting Box Clever provided the necessary video production equipment and crew of up to five per day. We also produced DVDs of the training videos for each device, and those DVDs are now in circulation throughout the province.
