About The Project
Our team had the exciting opportunity of giving this historical park a brand new website to match their new brand. The park is currently undertaking a $165 million enhancement project aiming at making Fort Edmonton Park the premier cultural tourism attraction in Western Canada and needed a new website to help match its ambition. The previous website was outdated and no longer supported the long term vision of the park. The new website offers an outstanding user experience, allowing Fort Edmonton Park to educate their audience more effectively about their available offerings, leading to a clear path to conversions such as ticket sales and venue bookings.
The new brand is integrated throughout the website through the use of colour, patterns, and playful graphic elements and interactions! We designed custom content types to create unique and memorable interior page layouts, along with various sections dedicated to highlighting their photography throughout the website. The Attractions page was designed to create an interactive and visual grid, showing users the expansive offerings the park has.
The administrative hassle of website updates was lowered by moving the website away from WordPress to WebGuide CMS. We were able to eliminate the need for third party plugins and allow the Fort Edmonton Park team to focus on their website content, not security or CMS issues.
With the expertise of our team, we were able to create a beautiful and functional custom website that will allow Fort Edmonton Park to position itself as a leader in cultural tourism for local, regional, and international guests!
